ISAA Board Election 2023
March 31, 7-10pm
The ISAA election is on March 31st 7pm-10pm PT and on behalf of the ISAA board of directors, we would like to encourage you to run in the following election to join ISAA board of directors. Here is a summary of the requirements:
Be passionate about making Iranian alumni community stronger!
Be active in any of the current ISAA initiatives or start your own :)
Minimum time commitment: one quarterly (online/on campus) meeting.
As an ISAA board member, you will be able to support the types of initiatives that speak to you most. Currently, the board focuses on three initiatives: ISPS annual event, social gatherings, and mentorship/professional development. If you are passionate about any of these or would like to initiate something new, please join us!
Also – we know that as alumni you all lead busy personal and professional lives. This position requires participating in one meeting every quarter. On top of that, depending on the initiatives that you participate in, you can choose how much time you want to spend as an ISAA board members and what type of activity you want to participate in (for instance, you might prefer helping in setting up an online event for professional development, or you might like to organize social gatherings for the alumni). If you have any questions about what being a board member entails, reach out to one of us and we would be happy to answer any questions you might have!
